We really enjoyed our stay in Galena! We love old, historic homes and love finding places like Briarstone to experience the “history”!! You have a neat and tidy place that is also clean. Bed was very comfortable and shower was nice. The only thing we would have wished was better was the heat. We did get a bit cold during the night and we realize it was very cold outside. There was a message on your downstairs thermostat that I will share with you via email. We will plan to visit Galena again soon to go skiing!

Review Positive: Bed was very comfortable. Location was Great Negative: The bathroom had a bobby pin on the floor and hair. Straw in the staircase in the house entire stay even after people were there Sun cleaning. We were there from Fri w check out Mon. Only had 2 towels for 2 people. I did have assistance via phone for check in as I was confused about the process. She was extremely nice and helpful .

Our stays are always the very very best at Briarstone. The newly added grill area is a nice touch. Cant wait til our next stay.

We had a very nice time on our weekend away. Loved that we could easily walk to everything downtown Galena! Location is perfect and everything was as listed. Loved the historical house/Inn. Its beautiful & kept nice. Thanks!!

I had an amazing and relaxing time at this cozy & clean Vrbo spot.It was a 5 minute walk to anywhere you want to be and the temperature was perfect in the main areas of the house.Free parking on the lot and a secure house to share with other people staying.Fresh coffee every morning was a huge plus! 10/10 would stay again. It would be the perfect stay for a group wanting to rent their own house for a desired time.
